This is Mongoose's top of the line All Terrain Bike. It's excellent on pavement, trails, footpaths, dirt and gravel roads. It will go where a Mountain Bike goes, but in a less aggressive manner. The comfortable riding position and frame geometry favor versatility over hard core rock pounding.

The 26" wheels and wide gear range allow for prowling the woods, creeping up hills or flying down the road at breakneck speed. The handlebars adjust not only up or down, but fore and aft as well, allowing you to be upright for comfortable cruising or more stretched out over the front wheel for tough terrain. The Mozo front suspension and suspension seatpost do a good job of absorbing the jolts without feeling mushy. The twist grip shifters are foolproof, the 24 speed Shimano drivetrain provides quick, crisp shifting and the brakes are excellent. The 6061 aluminum alloy frame is light, strong and will never rust. The double seals on the wheel hubs, Alex rims with stainless steel spokes and replaceable derailleur hanger are nice touches that used to be found only on more expensive bikes.

The All Terrain Bike is about as versatile as it gets.It loves the single track trails at Bent Creek, is rock solid on fire and logging roads, and is just right for leisurely jaunts around Lake Junaluska. Many folks who bought a Mountain Bike should have got an ATB, it's a good balance of comfort and performance. Put a rear rack and some water bottles on this bike and go explore the outdoors.
